Other factors that affect exercise metabolism include the type of exercise (e.g., endurance vs. strength training), nutrition (e.g., carbohydrate and protein intake), and individual factors such as age, sex, and genetics.

Understanding exercise metabolism is important for athletes, coaches, and healthcare professionals who work with individuals to improve their fitness and performance.
