Humeroulnar joint: This joint allows the hinge-like movement of the arm, and it is formed by the articulation of the trochlea of the humerus with the trochlear notch of the ulna.
Humeroradial joint: This joint allows the arm to rotate, and it is formed by the articulation of the capitulum of the humerus with the head of the radius.
Proximal radioulnar joint: This joint allows the forearm bones to rotate around each other, and it is formed by the articulation of the head of the radius with the radial notch of the ulna.

The elbow joint is stabilized by ligaments, tendons, and muscles. The ligaments are strong bands of connective tissue that connect the bones and provide stability to the joint. The tendons attach muscles to bones and allow for movement. The muscles around the elbow joint include the biceps, triceps, brachioradialis, and brachialis, among others.

Injuries to the elbow joint can include dislocations, fractures, sprains, and strains. Treatment for these injuries can include rest, immobilization, physical therapy, and in some cases, surgery.
