The aim of study Investigation of a relationship between high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and D-Dimer as biomarkers for diagnostic purposes and prognosis of the recurrence of spontaneous venous thromboembolism in subjects with a new and history of this disease, respectively.

Results In the sub clinical patients' group The values of hs-CRP and D-dimer were significantly higher than matched healthy group There was a significant correlation between the increase of D-dimer and hs-CRP (r = 0.661, p <0.0001)

Results In the sub-clinical patients' group Analysis of ROC curve for hs-CRP showed that values higher than 9.4 μg / ml had a sensitivity of 82.1% and a specificity of 94.4% for the detection of spontaneous venous thromboembolism.
