So Far… 31states have reported suspected cholera cases in 2022 except Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Jigawa and Ogun states As at July 2022, 13 more states reported 185 suspected cases – Anambra (5), Borno (2), Gombe (3), Kaduna (13), Kano (35), Katsina (7), Ondo (74), Plateau (2), Sokoto(6), Yobe (5) and Zamfara (24). Recently, Bauchi (2), Benue (2), Borno (3) and Ondo (16) reported 23 suspected cases There is constant percentage increase in confirmed cases and deaths caused by cholera Children under the age of 5 are more susceptible OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT SOURCE: NCDC INTERNAL
