Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) comprise a monoclonal antibody, linker region and cytotoxic warhead. The Antibody head binds to specific antigens on the tumor surface. When the ADC is internalized by the tumor cell, the linker is degraded releasing the cytotoxin, leading to cell death.
