Immune cell characterization traditionally involves identifying cell types and functions through performing a multitude of assays. While immunophenotyping assays aid in identifying classic cell surface markers, cytokine analysis assays are required for identifying the functional profile of those cells. Unfortunately, running separate assays is time consuming, and creates challenges with respect to correlating the data outputs. Additionally this data is derived from different aliquots of the original precious sample. Here we describe an all in one assay to assess immunophenotype, cytokine profiles, and cell health in the same well on a single platform to provide a single data output. This unified method provides more biologically relevant data as it is all derived from the same cells at the same time-point.
